Bridges Out of Poverty, created by AHA Process, is a nationally recognized approach that improves understanding of the lives of impoverished individuals. This training covers the causes of poverty, the hidden rules of economic classes, and the 11 resources needed to overcome poverty. Help your team become more effective in program delivery, understanding clients, and creating spaces where all individuals can thrive. This course is recommended for teams that interact with, hire, or provide services to individuals experiencing poverty.
■ 60-120 Minutes: Overview of the Key Concepts
■ 6-Hour Course: In-depth exploration and understanding of key concepts and implementation strategies, utilizing an individual lens (recommended)
■ 12-Hour Course: Includes the individual lens approach detailed above, as well as an institutional lens for a comprehensive dive into relevance and implementation strategies for organizations (the individual lens workshop must be completed before the institutional lens).
Following the evidence-based training by the Michelle McQuaid Group, PERMAH addresses well-being holistically by cultivating the presence of positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning, accomplishment, and health in our lives. PERMAH can be applied at personal, organizational, and community levels. This introductory course is recommended for companies interested in creating a positive cultural environment for employees and for individuals looking to take steps toward living a healthier and more positive life.
